Narrative Report of Research Contributions

Dr Guilan Kong is an Associate Research Professor in Health Data Science and leader of intelligent medical decision support group at the National Institute of Health Data Science, Peking University. Her research focuses on intelligent decision making in medicine, and she aims to provide explainable, real time and intelligent decision support to medical staff. Guilan has been doing research about knowledge and data-driven intelligent decision support methodologies and applications in health. Her current research field includes big data analytics in health, clinical decision support systems, multiple-criteria medial quality assessment and learning health systems. Guilan and her research team have developed some computerized tools for intelligent clinical decision support, including the prehospital trauma severity assessment tool and the software for cross-modal retrieval of similar clinical cases.
